THE COMPANY
White Oak Armament was created by John Holliger for the purpose of offering the accuracy minded shooter, gunsmith or home builder the same hand picked high quality parts that John uses to build White Oak Precision upper receivers. White Oak Precision upper receiver assemblies have been used to win many State, Regional and National titles in high power rifle competition. White Oak Armament offers those same quality parts at reasonable prices. We also have top quality lower parts or kits and complete production grade uppers that are built with only the very best components.
We pride ourselves on providing serious shooters with the quality parts and workmanship of a custom gunsmith, without the custom price. All of our parts are individually inspected to ensure that our customers get only the highest quality available in the market today. We guarantee 100% satisfaction on all the parts we sell.
- Receivers are all forged and mil spec or higher quality, and have the baked-on, anti-friction coating on the inside for long life.
- Bolts are held to proper tolerances for correct headspacing.
- Bolt carriers have M-16 style shrouded firing pins for reliable function and added weight.
- Handguards are top quality compression molded and fiberglass reinforced, not the cheap injection molded plastic.
- Our NM floating handguard assembly is our own design using heavy walled tubing, a solid welded end cap, and a sling swivel.
- Many parts are custom manufactured to our specifications.
- And of course everything is 100% made in the USA!

I have been a competitive shooter since 1980, holding NRA classifications in HP Rifle, Conventional Pistol, SB Rifle, SB Rifle Prone, and Silhouette Pistol. I have been doing gunsmithing of one kind or another since about the same time.
In 2000, I started White Oak Precision. One of the seemingly never ending problems for me was obtaining parts that were of the quality that I wanted to use in my uppers. Parts were bought from several sources, handguards here, bolts there, receivers over there. In some cases I had parts made to my specifications because I was not satisfied with what was available. I observed the need for a reliable source that custom gunsmiths and discriminating shooters could go to and be assured of getting only the very best quality parts available.
White Oak Armament is the result of that need. Since then, White Oak Armament has built a reputation for offering top-quality workmanship and exceptional service. As we enter our second decade of business I continue to be in the shop every day building uppers, talking with customers and suppliers, and ensuring that every White Oak product exceeds expectations.
